I'm Monica Hansen, the Christian podcast founder and host of The Graceful Warrior Podcast, alongside my new co-host Pastor David Chotka. I created this faith-based podcast to deliver Biblical truth and Spiritual Warfare insights, drawing from my personal faith journey and experiences and others. With Grace and Grit, I aim to equip faith-driven Warriors for daily life battles, offering prophetic wisdom as the Lord leads.

      My faith extends beyond my podcast. I am  the acclaimed author of “Captured by His Heart,” a sought-after book that has captivated readers with its profound narrative and heartfelt message. Available on major platforms like Barnes & Noble and Amazon, this book has become a favorite among those looking for inspiration and a yearning for a closer relationship with Jesus.

    As a combat veteran , I served 7 yrs in the United States Army. I have been deployed to Saudi, Iraq, Cuba and Humanitarian efforts in Florida during Hurricane Andrew. I am a dedicated mother and wife, my life experiences enrich my content, making me a relatable and trusted voice in the community. My journey from serving in the Army to becoming a podcast founder, host and author is a testament to my resilience and faith.

    In my free time, I enjoy 4-wheeling with my Husband in St Maries, Idaho. We have been on some wild trails and have pulled up on a massive female moose and coyote.

I also enjoy cooking my favorite authentic Mexican food. My friends are always trying to get me to reveal my secret recipes!!

I have a secret place to renew my mind and share quiet time with the Lord. It is in my gardens. I have 2 rose gardens and a vegetable garden in the summer seasons. It is there I find life lessons and discover the delicate pruning process the Lord does in our lives. 

   My passion for the work in my faith-driven purposes keep me motivated. I find joy and fulfillment in my writing and podcasting, which makes the balancing act more manageable.
